The Desert Eagle | Printstream is the most traded pistol in the game right now. Black and white, print-line pattern, and a finish that holds up well as it wears. It comes from The Fracture Collection and its rarity is Covert.
It's also an odd case pricing-wise: here the wear order doesn't behave the way you'd expect.
Wear matters less than you think
On most skins, the cleaner it is the pricier it gets. On the Printstream that rule breaks halfway down the wear scale.
The reason is the design. The black-and-white pattern hides wear far better than a flat-colour skin: a Battle-Scarred still reads as recognisable, and plenty of people would rather pay little for something that looks nearly identical on screen. That pushes demand toward the higher wears and flattens the price curve.
In practice, the Field-Tested often lands very close to — or even below — the Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. That isn't a pricing error, it's the market.
Field-Tested is the one that moves
Of every wear, Field-Tested has by far the most liquidity. It sells fast and at a predictable price.
If you're selling, that means two things:
- A Field-Tested turns into money quickly, without odd discounts for lack of buyers.
- A Factory New is worth more, sure, but it moves less volume: it's a niche within the niche.
Float range
Float runs from 0.00 to 0.80, so all five wears exist: Factory New, Minimal Wear, Field-Tested, Well-Worn and Battle-Scarred. Unlike skins with a clipped range, here you can run into any of them.
What to check before selling
- The exact float, especially if you're near a wear boundary.
- Whether it's StatTrak™, which makes a real difference on the Printstream.
- Stickers, which on a skin at this price point can move the total.
