Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal data.
Last updated: May 16, 2026
This is a preliminary version of our Privacy Policy pending legal review. The definitive version will be published soon.
1. Who we are
TheRushBee is the controller of the personal data you share with us when you use our platform to sell Counter-Strike 2 items.
2. Data we collect
Steam account information (SteamID, username, avatar and trade URL), email address, notification preferences, payout-method data (IBAN or wallet address) and activity data (sales you create, IP address, browser and device used).
3. Why we process your data
To operate the platform and let you sell your items, to pay you for your sales, to prevent fraud, and to comply with our legal obligations.
4. Legal basis
The processing is based on the performance of the contract between you and TheRushBee (signing in, creating sales), on our legal obligations and, for optional things like promotional emails, on your explicit consent — which you can withdraw at any time from your profile.
5. How long we keep your data
Steam-related data and sale activity are kept while your account remains active. You can ask for your account to be closed at any time; data subject to legal retention will stay archived only for the mandatory period.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your data. We only share it with: our payment providers (to process payouts), Price Empire (skin price data), Steam (to send the trade), our hosting and monitoring providers, and with public authorities when required by law.
7. Your rights
You can access, rectify, port, erase, or restrict the processing of your personal data, and you can object to any processing based on legitimate interest. To exercise these rights send an email to privacy@therushbee.com from the email associated with your account.
8. Security
We encrypt sensitive fields (payout data) at rest with strong symmetric encryption, keep access to them restricted to the members of our team who need it, and log every access. We use HTTPS everywhere and follow industry best practices to keep your data safe.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in (httpOnly refresh-token cookie) and to remember preferences like your language and currency. We do not use cookies for advertising or third-party tracking.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be communicated via email or inside the platform.
11. Contact
If you have any question about this policy or want to exercise your rights, write to privacy@therushbee.com.
